Subject to your account payments being up to date, the Gold Option provides you with the following types of protection:
Robbery Protection - If your product is stolen from your main residence with threat of violence, subject to a police report, the remaining balance will be paid off.
Accident or sickness - Accident or Sickness - The remaining balance of your account will be paid off in the event of you being unable to work due to injury.
Burglary Protection – If your product is stolen from your main residence following forceful or violent entry, subject to a police report, the remaining balance will be paid off.
Redundancy Protection – If you are made redundant six months or more after making your purchase, Courts will pay your payments until you have found reemployment (up to 12 monthly payments)..
Damage Protection - If
your product is damaged (e.g. through fire, flood or natural disaster)
, the remaining balance will be paid
off.
Hospitalisation Protection - If you spend one day in hospital as a result of an accident, you will have your monthly payment paid in full. For every extra day you need to stay in hospital, an extra monthly payment will be made for you, up to a maximum of 3 months..
Protection in the event of Death - In the event of the Insured person within the terms of the insurance, the company will pay any outstanding instalments less any sum in arrears at time of death. This will be paid upon presentation of a certified copy of the Death Certificate..
